Wrap Program.
A direct-to-consumer wrap program for Ford Motor Company, built, run, and operated end-to-end under a single OEM-grade umbrella.
Personalization was happening to Ford’s cars, just not inside Ford’s brand.
Wraps are one of the most popular ways an owner can make a Ford their own. But the moment a customer wanted one, they had to leave the Ford experience entirely, find a third-party shop, evaluate craft from Instagram, and trust a stranger with a $50,000 vehicle.
Ford ended up wearing the result either way. A great install carried someone else’s logo. A bad install was still a Ford rolling down the street with peeling vinyl and uneven colour.
Ford asked us to design a program where their customer never has to leave the brand to personalize their car.
The deposit moment moves from guess to decision.
Customers don’t arrive at a wrap shop knowing what they want. They arrive overwhelmed, flipping through a swatchbook, holding a 2-inch sample chip up to a fender, trying to picture how a colour-shift finish reads on their actual roofline at sunset. That’s a deposit they don’t feel ready to put down.
We placed a high-resolution 3D visualizer at the front of the Ford program so the customer makes the call earlier, their actual Ford, the curated finish library, in the lighting they’d see it under in real life.
By the time a Ford owner is ready to commit, they’ve already seen the finish on their car, and they put the deposit down with confidence, not crossed fingers.
The shop floor, held to OEM standards.
A wrap program is only as good as the bay where the vinyl meets the vehicle. The OEM can’t accept "the install was kind of like the render"; the customer can’t accept it either. Random shops won’t guarantee that level of fidelity.
So we built the Zeno Certified Network, a curated bench of shops vetted by xix3D for craft, capacity, and material expertise. Each Certified shop installs from the same brief, the same spec sheet, and the same approved render the customer signed off on weeks earlier.
The shop knows what it’s building before the car arrives. Ford knows the install will hold. The customer’s car comes back looking like the render they fell in love with online.
One brand-led journey across visualization, fulfillment, and aftercare.
Most aftermarket programs hand off responsibility three or four times between OEM, shop, and customer, that’s where quality drops, where complaints start, and where the brand silently absorbs the damage. We collapsed those handoffs into a single program that lives under the Ford banner from end to end.
xix3D operates the seam: visualization at the start, routing to the right Certified shop, build coordination through install, and aftercare materials that protect the wrap once it’s on the road. Ford holds the customer relationship and the brand standard. We hold the operational floor that connects them.
For Ford, that’s a new personalization line that strengthens the brand instead of diluting it. For the shop, every job arrives pre-sold and pre-specified. For the customer, the wrap they imagined is the wrap they drive home.
